Monthly Favourites: April 2014

Hello lovelies! I know it's been a while (and I'm sorry for that) but I'm back with a new post! This month I have a fairly small selection of favourites, but each product has been loved so much, they have been used on a daily basis. With the weather getting slightly warmer I've found that a stripped back base and a neutral eye look has been all I've been wearing throughout the month. Pairing a natural finish foundation with a soft shadow, a small winged eyeliner and a summery coloured lip gloss (or lipstick) still looked effortless and besides that it's super easy and quick! Enough rambling - onto the favourites!

Urban Decay NAKED 3: When my mum came back from her trip to Italy and gave me this palette, trust me, I could not contain my excitement! My love for Urban Decay eyeshadows, especially their NAKED pallets, goes way back 'till 2010 when the launched the first one. Their shadows are so buttery and pigmented, seriously they never disappoint me. Same goes for this palette, the shadows are just so beautiful and unique and I love the rose-gold theme. I just love this palette and I've been using it daily since I got it.

NARS 'Orgasm': The blush that everyone either has or wants. It's a beautiful peachy pink with a golden shimmer and looks amazing on the cheeks. I probably own about 2 dupes for this colour but honestly they don't even compare. NARS blushes have such a unique finish to them which is almost impossible to re-create with a drugstore product. With €30.50 ($30; £22.50) NARS blushes are a little pricier but totally worth it!

NYX Mega Shine Lip Glosses: I never used to be a lip gloss kinda gal but trying the NYX Mega Shine lip glosses last month totally changed my mind. I absolutely love the finish of them and how pigmented they are. Their non-sticky formula makes it easy to wear, even on a windy day. The two colours that I purchased are Beige and Tea Rose. Beige is a quite universal mid-toned pink shade which I find flattering on all skin tones. Tea Rose is a medium pink and very easy to wear as it is looks very natural - definitely a 'your lips but better' colour.

MAC 'Girl About Town' | CHANEL 'Rendez Vous': Definitely two firm staples in my make up collection. 'Girl About Town' by MAC is a gorgeous fuchsia pink with an amplified finish. I gotta say that out of all the finishes MAC offers this is by far my favourite. It glides on really smoothly and pigmented. And once it's on the lips it stays their all night - no smudging no transferring. The Chanel Rouge Coco Shine lipsticks on the other hand have more of a sheer and shiny finish. Usually not the kind of finish I look for in a high end lipstick but still so beautiful I could not resist buying it. I have a few different shades but 'Redez Vous' is definitely my favourite!

Here you go guys, these are all of my April favourites. What are yours? xo
